If you aren't an early adopter, then it looks like you may have a long wait ahead of you for an iPod shuffle. Apple's new 512 MB flash-based MP3 player now has an estimated 2-3 week wait time when ordered from their website. The 1 GB player is even longer, at 4 weeks. With the shuffle's announcement at MacWorld, Steve Jobs made it known that the iPod shuffle was being shipped from the manufacturer to Apple Stores nationwide, their online store, and third party retailers.
