JVC pioneered the HDD digital camcorder with the JVC Everio, now as predicted other companies start to introduce digital camcorder with hard-drives.
NHJ Japan launches the D'zign DV-5 that features a 2GB hard-drive. The camcorder records video in MP4 format (640x480 with 30fps). The 3.2MP camcorder can also be used as MP3 Player. The D'zign measures 82mm × 73mm x 35mm. NHJ sells their products through Target in the US. Most likely the D'zign DV-5 will come this year to the US as well.
