I did not even want to report about the new Kenwood MP3 Player (M512A3 and M256A3) as it is not at all interesting. Now DAPReview even found out that the new Kenwood just looks like the Creative DMP FX120 (photo below).
I am not sure if Creative would OEM to other companies, or maybe the design is now available through the original manufacturer Creative has used to produce the FX120.
In any case big consumer brands like Kenwood should do better. Not sure how the business is goign for Kenwood, it is not going well for Sony. Those big brand Consumer Electronics companies need to take care not to miss the bus.
