Game analyst PJ McNealy has made it known that he believes that Nintendo will more than likely release an update to the Gameboy product line by the end of 2005. His reasoning is that Nintendo's trend is to release a new Gameboy about every two years, and the GBA is due for an update. While the DS was just released during the fourth quarter of 2004, Nintendo continues to maintain that the DS and Gameboy product lines are totally unrelated.
