New Segway Models Announced: XT, GT, and HT i180

When the original Segway was announced, it changed the world as we know it - at least in Dean Kamen's mind. For everyone else, it is business as usual. That is why the announcements of the new Segway models don't really garner much excitement. The Segway XT, pictured to the left, is the new "off-roading" model. There is also the Segway GT (Golf Transporter), which aims to replace golf carts at a cool $5,495. Lastly, the original Segway receives an upgrade in the HT i180. You can now choose from three color schemes, and the battery life has been doubled.
