Ok, it is not a huge PSP secret, but non-the-less an interesting tidbit. The Sony PSP changes its background color each month.
Smash's World gone through the exercise to change the dates on the PSP and figure out all 12 colors the PSP is cycling through. I liked the yellow background I had on some PSP photos. Not sure if it would be actually better to choose the background color.

UPDATE:
I4U reader leobag points out that this feature is described in the Sony PSP manual. I guess that many people are not reading the manual. I have an excuse, I only have the Japanese PSP manual.
