Nikon D50 SLR Camera officially announced

Nikon seems to be getting close to announce the Nikon D50 entry-level SLR Camera.

The Nikon D50 is positioned under the Nikon D70.
The D50 manual appeared briefly on the Japanese Nikon site. Some of the details from that source are: 6.1MP resolution like the D70, silver colored case, stores photos on SD-Cards, some small changes in the functions and similar size compared to the D70.
