The rumored news (see Reuters) that Acer might buy the Siemens Mobile business unit was demented by a Acer spokesperson. At the same time there are talks going on between Siemens and Nortel.
As reported in January, Siemens Mobile is not doing great. Siemens Boss Klaus Kleinfeld is supposed to make statements on the future of the Siemens Mobile unit on April 27th, when the half-year numbers are presented.
