Apple iPod shuffle already owns 58% of US Flash Player Market

Apple said in an investor briefing that research firm NPD reports a 58% market share for the iPod shuffle in Flash Music Players in the US.

This is quite amazing as the iPod shuffle just came out in January. The numbers are already for March. This must really frustrate a lot of other flash music players that have been on the market for years and then get beaten that badly by Apple. Apple of course already rules the HDD based music player market and the music download market.
