This is one of those gadgets I get to know about via emails from Asian distributors and OEMs. This one is kind of interesting.
Hong Kong based Econ Technology Ltd. offers the Bestek USB to IrDA adaptor with Sigmatel 4200 series chipset. This dongle allows to connect mobile phones or PDAs via the infra-red port to a PC. I do not know if this thing is on sale anywhere as Econ Technology looks for distributors for the USB to IrDA adaptor.
