Sony PSP soon selling for $199?

Sony might start shipping a console only package in the US.

In Japan a stand alone version was available from the beginning (PSP-1000). This PSP version only comes with a battery and power adapter. No memory stick, headset and pouch.
With most people anyway buying a bigger Memory Stick for the PSP the $50 could be invested in that purchase.
