Sharp announces the Mebius PC-TX32J TV, HDD-DVD and PC system PC-TX32J in Japan.
I was looking through all product material published on this new home multimedia system from Sharp, but I could not find a clear answer on where Sharp has hidden the PC. It is most likely inside the 32 inch LCD screen. They PC could also be in the HDD DVD Player. Who knows.
Anyway this is a beautiful system (see also photo below) featuring a Windows XP Home edition PC with 2.8Ghz Celeron CPU, 512MB and 250GB hard-drive. The AV PC comes loaded with video editing software. A wireless keyboard is available for working with the PC on the 32" inch Aquos LCD screen.
The Sharp Mebius PC-TX32J goes on sale on June 24th in Japan. No pricing available yet.
More details in Sharp press-release (Japanese).
