So Nokia had to top Sony Ericsson on the same day with announcing seven new mobile phones.
Sony Ericsson only announced four phones today - Loosers! The new Nokia's are also more exciting then the new Sony Ericsson phones.
The new Nokia 6280 (photo) is a compact 3G slider mobile phone featuring a 2 megapixel and a VGA camera, QVGA screen, real time video sharing, two way video calls, video ring tones. The Nokia 6280 is expected to begin shipping in the fourth quarter of 2005, at an estimated retail price of 375 EUR before subsidies or taxes.
The Nokia 6270 is a quad band phone sporting a 2 megapixel camera with flash. Other features include QVGA screen, email, music player with MP3 and AAC support, 3D sound effects and FM radio.
The Nokia 6270 is expected to begin shipping in the fourth quarter of 2005 with a 300 EUR price tag.
The Nokia 6111 is also a slider phone with a 1MP digital camera with Flash and 6x zoom. Other features 128x160 pixel screen and push to talk.
The 6111 comes also in the fourth quarter with a 270 EUR price tag.
The Nokia 6060 is an entry level phone focusing on basic voice communications. Sells for 140 EUR in the 3rd quarter of 2005.
The Nokia 6265 is apparently Nokia's most feature-rich CDMA phone. It's features include QVGA screen, 2MP digital camera, LED Flash, music player, Bluetooth, miniSD, 24MB onboard memory, FM Tuner and BREW 3.1.
The Nokia 6265 is expected to begin shipping in the fourth quarter of 2005.
The Nokia 2255 is a compact flip phone. It features an FM-Tuner, a Flashlight and business applications like spreadsheets and calculator.
The Nokia 2255 is expected to begin shipping in the fourth quarter of 2005.
Lastly we have the Nokia 2125, a entry-level phone that ships in the 3rd quarter of 2005.
