Japanese Masaaki Nagumo builds a 3.4m high walking robot based on the Mobile Suit Gundam anime series.

The Land Walker robot is really working and is currently made to order for 36 million yen (~330,000USD). The robot weighs 1 ton and can walk forward, backward and sideways. It shoots sponge bullets from its mounted guns.
