Sendo Gone: Motorola Buys Sendo Assets

British Mobile Phone maker Sendo could not secure further funds and had to find a buyer for its operation. Motorola snagged up the developers and patents of Sendo.

Sendo launched in 1999. Sendo made some waves hitting some issues with Microsoft on their Windows Smartphone in 2002.
The Mobile Phone business is tough, and not even large companies like Siemens have failed at it.
More details on The Register.

Sendo was about to release their Sendo X2 music phone. This one will most likely now never be released.
