Even though Clickstar Inc. has Hollywood blood with actor Morgan Freeman as founder, this sounds like a tough thing
to do.
ClickStar's strategy is to create an online service in which consumers can access, pay for and download first-run, pre-DVD-release films and artist-created entertainment channels in their homes.
Clickstar Inc. was announced by Freeman and Intel. Intel is supposed to provide the technology.
More details in the Clickstar press-release.
The trick will be to create a service that is easy to use and allows flexibility for the consumer, but still protected against piracy. Until then it is easier to rent DVDs online.
