Alibi Intersection Gadget

Reuters published an interesting article on corporate white lies and techniques. One gadget featured in the article is the in Japan available Alibi Intersection Gadget.

The Alibi Intersection simulates different background noises to make fake phone calls more believable. Amongst the six sound effects are noise inside a train station or a pachinko game parlor. News.3yen.com digged up more details and a Japanese store that sells the Alibi Intersection for about $20.

The article also mentions a new book called White Collar Slacker's Handbook that highlights white lies like backdating emails.
