Griffin is apparently updating its iTrip FM transmitter for Apple iPods that they introduced in 2003.
iPodLounge had access to a pre-production model of the new Griffin iTripLCD.
The new iTrip has a backlit LCD display and a couple of helpful feature enhancements for better FM transmission quality.
The new iTrip is slated for August 2005 at a price around $40.
