LG introduces a interesting new design for mobile phones. The LG LG-LP3900 slides upwards and downwards to enable different functionality.
Pushing the sliding part down reveals the 1.3MP camera lens. Sliding upwards reveals the number keys. The design makes a lot of sense, or maybe not. I would have to turn the phone to shoot photos, and then i cannot use the big screen as view finder. It looks like it is great to make self portraits.
Anyway other nice feature of the phone is the mp3 player. The phone comes with a remote control with a LCD display to use the 256MB music player in the phone.

Pantech introduced recently a phone that takes slider phones also to the next level with a slide and swing design.
