The Tritton SEE2 USB to VGA Adapter has recently been updated, and can now support screen resolutions of up to 1680 x 1050 in 16-bit color. 32-bit color is available, but you are resolution limited to a max resolution of 1440 x 900 to get 32-bit color. You can use the Tritton SEE2 USB to VGA Adapter to extend your desktop, mirror your desktop or as your primary desktop.

The mirroring function is great for presentations where you want the audience to see what you are doing on a larger screen, but want to be able to see well yourself. Installing the Tritton SEE2 USB to VGA Adapter is as easy as putting the drivers CD into your optical drive and running setup. After the drivers are installed, you plug the Tritton SEE2 USB to VGA Adapter into an available USB port and you are ready to work.

It is also a great way to be able to have a website source open if you are pulling data from different places. There is also more than enough muscle for watching streaming video online such as movie trailers and YouTube. I saw no skipping or dropped frames when I tried this on my test machine equipped with an Intel QX6700 CPU.

One of the big bonuses of the Tritton SEE2 USB to VGA Adapter is that you don’t need to open your computer up to install it. That is a big deal for lots of people since they may not have the physical slots needed for an additional video card and may lack the expertise to perform a video card installation. Anyone can install the Tritton SEE2 USB to VGA Adapter with ease and be ready to work in a few minutes on a second display.

When used for its intended purpose, the Tritton SEE2 USB to VGA Adapter is a great product that works very well.
