Panasonic announces new Plasma HDTV with full HD resolution (1080p).
The flag-ship 65 inch model TH-65PX500 will ship in November for 990,000 yen (~$9,000). This is at least $5,000 less than the 1080p 65 inch Sharp Aquos LCD HTDV that will come also come in Q4 to the USA.
There will also be smaller size models of the new full HD Plasma line from Panasonic: TH-50PX50, TH-42PX50 and TH-37PX50.
