Sony announces new Sony VAIO TX Notebooks series.

A white LED display and a slick carbon fiber casing bring the weight of the VAIO TX down to three pounds. The Sony VAIO TX features of course wireless connectivity and optional the Cingular EDGE network card.
Battery life is 4 to 7.5 hours. Sony VAIO TX notebooks will be widely available this month in charcoal without WWAN starting at about $2,250 and next month with WWAN for about $2,300.
More details in this Sony press-release.

Sony UK announced the VAIO TX already last week along the VAIO FJ, VAIO FS300, A500 and S5 and VAIO BX.
