Sharp announces new 57 inch Aquos HDTV with 1920x1080 pixel resolution - the Sharp Aquos LC-57GE2.
The Sharp Aquos LC-57GE2 features 1500:1 contrast ratio, 4ms response time and a 176 degrees view angle.
Sharp will launch the Sharp Aquos LC-57GE2 on December 1st in Japan for 1,450,000 Yen (~$13,00).

Sharp also introduced a 37 inch model dubbed LC-37GE2.
The top of the line is still the Sharp Aquos LC-65GE1, that will also make it to the United States this November.
