The Sun and Google press-conference is still going on, but the details are already out and the
web-cast page is anyway overloaded.
Google and Sun Microsystems partner on software distribution. Sun will include the Google Toolbar as an option in downloads of the Java Runtime Environment from Java.com. And that is it as far as concrete announcements in the press-release.
Google and Sun agree to explore other areas of collaboration. Open Office and JRE are mentioned.
So I guess Microsoft can lean back again, nothing happened.More details in this press-release on the Sun Microsystems site.
