$44,000 Diamond and Gold Douglas.J MP3 Player

Meng Duo Ltd, a London based company launches what could be called the world's most expensive MP3 player. The £25,000 (~$44,000) D.J Presidential is decorated with several diamonds on the gold exterior.

The super expensive mp3 player also comes with a VIP membership and each Presidential will be hand delivered to the owner anywhere in the world.
All in all a nice marketing stunt, similar to the 24 Carat Gold MP3 player promoted by Jens Of Sweden last year.
The concept of pairing an expensive gadget with a VIP service is not new. Vertu seems to be still successful with this since quite a while. The company also offers lower priced lines of technically the same mp3 player called D.J X.2 endorsed by by Xavier Aeon. The players feature 1 1GB flash memory, USB 2.0, a OLED color display and 10 hour battery life. Measurements are 2.28in x 1.55in x 0.27in.
