Sony announces in Japan a 8GB version of its Sony NW-A1000 series mp3 player.
The Sony NW-A1200/B comes only in black as the model number indicates. This Sony Walkman is one of the first 8GB mp3 players out there.
Besides the 8GB, the NW-A1200/B features the same specifications of the other already announced Sony A-1000 series mp3 players. Outside of Japan, the Sony NW-A1000 (6GB) was announced in the UK so far. Amazon UK has them up now for pre-order. They ship November 7th for £149.97 (~$263).
The Sony NW-A1200/B Walkman goes on sale in Japan on October 21st for 30,000 Yen (~$259).
