Sharper Image Sells Exclusive Alive Chimpanzee Head

Famous Gadget store Sharper Image sells exclusively the WowWee animatronics Alive Chimpanzee head.

The Sharper Image gadget offering got pretty boring in the last years with mostly consisting of air purifiers. Last year they offered some special edition Robosapiens, but now the picked this somehow very macabre monkey head from WowWee to sell it exclusive.
I saw actually the monkey head at the CES 2005 and already back then was scratching my head and wondered who would want to buy that.

The "Alive" Chimpanzee feature some high-tech like iR sensors to detect movement and follow it with its eyes to make it appear alive. It also has stereo sound sensors and the monkey head skin has touch sensors. The Chimpanzee head has four moods and comes with a remote.

Sharper Image icon sells the Chimpanzee head for $149.95. Hey it is Halloween, the Alive Chimpanzee is sure good to scare people.
