Sega Toys Sound Carrier Gadget

Sega Toys is offering a new multifunctional and very colorful music toy in Japan.

The Sega Sound Carrier looks like has a Tamagotchi function (pet mode) integrated besides, games, music games and voice recorder. The device has a small LCD screen and the face plate can be customized. Sega Toys is even offering face plates to print-out on color printers that can be put behind the transparent top.

I cannot find information how much memory this tricked-out Tamagotchi has.The Sega Toys Sound Carrier sells for 3,990 Yen (~$33). It should be available in Japan in November.
