Time Magazine picked Snuppy the first cloned Dog, as the most amazing innovation of 2005.
Snuppy was cloned at Seoul National University in Korea. The little cute guy is an Afghan hound. Snuppy's genes are derived from a single cell taken from the ear of an adult Afghan.
The Sheep Dolly was the first cloned mammal and was cloned with the same method.The Time print magazine is in stores now featuring the Most Amazing Inventions of 2005. The article is online, but only accessible to Time magazine subscribers.
