The Xbox 360 bundles available yesterday on Circuit City
were gone pretty quickly and the site was hit very hard. I am not sure how many they had, but clearly based on the overloading of the site, consumer interest must have been huge.
The official launch is only two days away. Some retail stores like Wal-Mart and
GameStop open at midnight.
If the numbers of available Xbox 360 in stores in this story on
GameShout are
true, than people should not bother to leave the house and stand in line.
EBGames and GameStop stores have zero Xbox 360 packages available for walk-in
customers. Circuit City and Best Buy are supposed to have about 30-50 systems
each store. Wal-Mart stores depending on their size have supposedly only 3-10
Xbox 360 units available. Those numbers are so bad, that I can hardly believe
them. I guess we will only know for sure if the supply situation of Microsoft
Xbox 360 consoles is really that bad on Tuesday.
If something is in short
supply,
eBay is the place where the prices are newly defined for those products.
Couple weeks ago only Xbox 360 email addresses have been traded, now the number
of listed Xbox 360 systems and bundles is huge. Looks like people are still
hesitant to bid heavily though. Prices are around $600 for a premium Xbox 360
package. That is 30% over the retail price. Will see how it will develop after
the 22nd.European and Japanese Xbox 360 fans still can relax a bit. The launch date for the Xbox 360 in Europe is December 2nd and in Japan it is December 10th.
Promising ideas are cut off at their head by shaky game mechanics. In most video games the player takes on the role of an immortal badass. Death is rarely the end, but a temporary setback, a return to checkpoint. Konami’s NeverDead embraces the immortal ...
