The white iDog from Hasbro sold in the United States is since about a week not in stock anymore on the major online Retailers Amazon.com and Wal-mart.

Besides the Xbox 360, the iPod nano, the Hasbro/Sega iDog/i-Dog has joined the league of hottest gifts for this holiday season.
The prices have gone up for the iDog. The cheap deals on Amazon.com ($24.99) and Wal-Mart ($24.72) are not available anymore.
Some stores sell it still for $34.95. But for that price you actually can consider to order a pink iDog from Asia, which are not available in the US. Actually prices for those have gone up too. They pink iDog is now selling for $39 on AudioCubes. The blue iDog is sold out.It is also worth checking eBay for the iDog. There are currently several listed under $30.

Some may find the black iDog an interesting choice. This one will start shipping unfortunately after Christmas on January 1st 2006 from Amazon.com ($24.99).
