Silicon Valley Startup Brondell secured a Series A financing of $1.3 Mio. from Mark Cuban (owner of Dallas Mavericks and co-founder of Broadcast.com) and others.
Brondell introduced their first high-tech toilet seat called Swash in January. The luxury toilet seat features Posterior & Feminine Wash, Heated Contoured Seat, Gentle Closing Seat & Lid and Warm Air Dryer (only Swash 600).
The Swash 600 has the controls on a remote that can be mounted on the wall. The Swash 400 has the controls on the seat. Brondell's Swash seat can be installed on most US toilets.
Japan actually is into High-Tech toilets since years. Most recently a MP3 player toilet was introduced there.The Brondell Swash 400 and Swash 600 are available at HomeDepot.com, LinensNThings.com, EXPO design centers, select Bed, Bath & Beyond stores and online at the Brondell site. The Swash 400 and Swash 600 retail for $469 and $599, respectively. More details in this press-release.

The Donn Handicap may not be what it used to be, and it's certainly debatable whether it remains a legitimate Grade 1. But it sure was a great betting race...and isn't that, in fact, the most important thing? I'd take this race over those five horse true ...
