To integrate solar panels in a bag is not really a new idea. There are backpack (e.g.: Eclipse Solar Reactor, Voltaic Solar, or the Juice Bag).
Still to cover a woman's handbag with solar cells is a new angle. Maybe Karl Lagerfeld wants to enhance his Fendi iPod bag (carries up to 12 iPods) with Solar panels.
