Samsung supplies the Flash memory for the Apple iPod nano on the one hand and on the other they introduce an mp3 player competing with the iPod nano dubbed YP-Z5.
2GB and 4GB flash players are still rare. Samsung is poised to introduce the YP-Z5 at the CES 2006. Features include 1.8 inch color screen, 38 hour battery life and MP3, WMA support. No details on the measurements of the YP-Z5 known.There are no details on pricing and launch date yet.
