Yesterday movie studios announced the movies they will release on Blu-ray Discs in 2006. Now Warner Home Video Announces Titles and Release Dates for HD DVD.
The first of HD DVD titles will be released on March 28, 2006. As reported Toshiba will start selling their HD DVD players in March.
Batman Begins, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Dukes of Hazzard. The Matrix, Twister and Terminator 3: Rise of The Machines are
amongst the 24 movies Warner will release on HD DVD this year.
New theatrical releases such as Superman Returns and Poseidon being introduced simultaneously on standard DVD and HD DVD formats.
The Warner Bros. library, considered one of the most prestigious and prodigious in the world, consists of more than 6,600 feature films, 40,000 television titles and 14,000 animated titles (including over 1,500 classic animated shorts).
