Gracenote, a leader in global digital entertainment technology, announced at CES 2006 that it had over 150 million consumers in 2005, who executed over six billion music searches in its Global Media Database.
Gracenote also announced Gracenote Discover, a recommendation engine that helps consumers find new music to fit their own tastes and interests.
The media data company also announced the MediaVOCS, a speech recognition solution for hands-free control of music collections, and Playlist Plus, a content recognition and automatic playlist creation solution for devices with limited resources and connectivity.
