Last Friday I had a story summarizing some rumors of new products of that week. Two of them have confirmed as not true this week. I decided to try a weekly rumor round-up to keep an eye on the rumor mill.
There was no new Nintendo DS announcement on the 16th. I guess the earliest we see something new
from Nintendo is at the E3 2006 in May. Nintendo made some waves this week around its Revolution. Talking about selling more consoles than Microsoft and that the Revolution will be in store
before Thanks Giving in the US for less than $300. Nintendo's stock even soared by this news. See Joystiq for more.
The other rumor was about Blu-ray for Xbox 360. Microsoft made clear this week that it will not happen. More about this on The Register.
We do not know yet if Apple will be offering a mobile phone. So this is still a rumor.
A new rumor is that Quentin Tarantino is going to direct Half-Life movie. More on that rumor on GameSpot.
BargainPDA has a hot new rumor that the Motorola Q is not going to be available in Europe.
The hottest rumor would be a release date for the Sony PS3. But that is one is still a guess game and no rumors in sight.
If you have a new hot technology rumor, email me.
