Sony launches a bunch of new VAIO notebooks in Japan. Three new VAIO type F TV series and five VAIO type S series notebooks will start hit the Japanese market beginning tomorrow.
The Sony VAIO type F TV feature a built-in TV tuner and run on the new Intel Core Duo CPUs. Available models will be the VGN-FT90PS, VGN-FTG90S and VGN-FT50B. The Sony TV notebook is only 30mm thin and features also a DVD drive and come with a TV remote.
Sony also introduces the Sony VAIO type S series, which includes the models VGN-SZ90PS, VNG-SZ90S, VGN-SZ80PS, VGN-SZ80S and VGN-SZ70B/B. These new VAIO notebooks feature also the new Intel Core Duo CPU. The VGN-SZ90 feature a LED back lighted screen. The Sony VAIO type S notebooks also go on sale in Japan the next days.
