Apple to replace Mac mini with new Mac nano?

A rumor about an Apple computer even smaller than the Mac mini is getting some exposure today.

In May the rumor about Apple killing the Mac mini had already made its rounds.
Mac OS Rumors (via TUAW) reports that at the end of October Apple would launch the Mac nano.
There are also rumors floating around about a MacBook nano and a new Apple TV. A small Macbook in the size of an Asus eee PC could be hot, if the price is right.

Earlier today we reported about that Apple will have a big event at the end of October and most likely launch Mac OS X Leopard. The possibility of a new Apple announcement event alone brings up all kinds of rumors. We should see much more this month as we get closer to this rumored Apple event.
