Benefon together with NAVTEQ announce a new line of fully integrated GPS mobile phones called TWIG.
The first model is the TWIG Discovery. The GSM mobile phone offers full GPS powered turn by turn navigation. The on-board NAVTEQ maps provide street level details and Points of Interest.
The navigation provides 2D and 3D map rendering and voice instructions.
With TWIG Finder Benefon offers a fun feature that allows users to navigate to another TWIG phone owner.
Benefon will demonstrate the TWIG device at the 3GSM conference next week.
