Last week Google had the big rumors in the technology news universe. This week rumor king Apple is back.
Apple is supposed to still work on a real Video iPod with a 3.5 inch screen. Think Secret has the scoop and estimates that Apple will announce a portable video player in March or April.
Another Apple related rumor hints on wireless iPods. Reason for that is the announcement of chip maker PortalPlayer about new chips with Wi-fi and Bluetooth features. PortalPlayer's business is nearly all coming from Apple iPods, it is reasonable to conclude that new iPods will feature wireless headsets and wireless data transfer features. More details on this Apple rumor on the Red Herring.Apple to buy Palm is the 3rd Apple rumor that has appeared last week again. Trigger for that one is that a couple of Palm investors want to sell Palm. I do not think this will happen. Only reason could be that Apple really wants to make an Apple mobile phone and is not able to pull it off by themselves, then the Treo guys could be helpful.
