Nokia introduces the Nokia 6131 at the 3GSM 2006 show in Barcelona.
The Nokia 6131 folding phone features a chrome and soft touch paint and opens at the push of a button. Features of the new Nokia phone include a 1.3MP digital camera, 8x digital zoom, true color (16Mio Colors) QVGA screen, 2nd display with 262k colors, MP3 player, FM Radio, Bluetooth, microSD slot, Nokia Xpress audio messaging and push to talk.The quadband Nokia 6131 (GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900) is expected to be available to customers in European, Asian, African and select Latin American markets in the second quarter of 2006 at an estimated retail price of 275 EUR, excluding taxes and subsidies.
A version for North American markets will be announced later in 2006.
