Panasonic announces the Lumix DMC-TZ1 and Lumix DMC-FX01 digital cameras.
The 5MP Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1 is supposed to be the world's smallest 10x optical zoom digital camera. Panasonic incorportated a retractable Leica 10x lens in a compact and stylish digital camera.
Other features include Mega O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer), 2.5 inch display, up to ISO 800 sensitivity, Linear AF system, wide-aspect VGA (848x480) at 30 fps video recording and 18 scene modes.

The new Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX01 features a 3.6x optical zoom and 6MP CCD. It also supports Mega O.I.S. and wide-aspect VGA video recording.
