Mini is presenting at the Geneva Motor Show 2006 the Mini Concept Geneva to commemorate the 100th birthday of Sir Alec Issigonis, the inventor of the original Mini.
The Mini Concept Geneva is representing a multi-functional Rally service car. The design hints at a 'station wagon' Mini coming maybe in 2008/2009. Lots of innovative features are packed into the Mini Concept Geneva. The Mini reached early cult status by winning Rally races in the 60s.
MotoringFile has an in-depth report and tons of photos of the Mini Concept Geneva. See also the Mini XXL Stretch-Limo.
On the weekend we reported about the 157MPG Loremo car, which has the potential to make one of the biggest splashes at the Geneva Motor Show.
