A rumor is circulating that Sony is bringing back their Aibo robot dog in a version that works with the Sony PS3 and Sony PSP.
Stuff Magazine gives the Aibo PS a page in their rumored products for 2008. The chance that Sony would bring back the Aibo is set by the magazine at 53%. Via Kotaku.
Sony got out of the robot business in January of 2006. Toy robots have never been as hot as they are this year. Just look at the highly advanced Ugobe Pleo or the other toy robots
It could make sense for Sony to bring back Aibo from that point of view, on the other hand it is defocusing and costs a lot of money.
