Features & Specifications
The Powramid E900-H has six outlets and a 15A resettable circuit breaker. The power cord is nice and long at eight feet in length. The power switch on top of the Powramid E900-H is covered by a clear protector to keep things from dropping on top of the device and turning things off. The outlets are on the sides of the pyramid style surge protector and are spaced a wide distance apart to allow bulky power bricks the room they need to connect to the protector.

In Use
The first thing you notice about the Powramid E900-H is the pyramid design that gives in an interesting look. You can get the Powramid E900-H in black or white colors and the power switch on top glows when the device is connected. The plastic cover over the power switch is nice. I have had things fall off my desk and turn my surge protector off before, resulting in my computer turning off unexpectedly.

The cap fits snugly and takes a bit of effort to remove, which is a good thing. That means the cap won’t fall off accidentally. The outlets are spaced apart enough that only the largest power bricks will block the nearby outlets. All the gear I normally plug into a power strip like cell phone chargers, notebooks, home theater components and PC speaker power supplies fit without any issues and without blocking the other ports.

This is certainly more than I can say for the long bar style surge protector I replaced with the Powramid E900-H. My previous surge protector had 3 of the six outlets on it blocked by power supplies. The design of the Powramid E900-H also gives you a place to hold the strip down while you unplug things.

Verdict

Conclusion

Pros

  • Compact size
  • Well spaced outlets

Cons

  • Protective switch cover maybe hard to remove for some

Verdict
The Powramid E900-H is the coolest surge protector I have used. It offers an easy way to plug all but the very largest power bricks into its outlets without blocking nearby outlets. If you want a nice looking power supply that is well designed, the Powramid E900-H is a great choice.
