The merchandising business for the Soccer World Cup in Germany is gearing up. The FIFA World Cup is not only a big business for Adidas or Puma, but also for tons of smaller vendors trying to make a business with all kinds of soccer branded merchandise. The strangest product I came across so far is the FooTooKit - a soccer voodoo doll.
Soccer fans can put the flag of the competing team on the t-shirt of the voodoo doll and start sticking needles into the doll to cast evil spells onto the players - sure works if believe in black magic.
The FooTooKit comes with the doll, needles and a set of flags of the Soccer World Cup teams.
It is currently sold out but is supposed to be shipping again early April. German store Fussi deluxe sells the FooTooKit for 14.95 Euros in Europe.
See also this interesting furniture sold by Fussi deluxe called SuddenDesk.
