Episodic Media Inc. announces that they will bring the new Korean viliv P2 portable media player to the United States and Europe on August 15th.
The viliv P2 was spotted at the CeBit back in March. Now most of the specification has been released. The viliv P2 runs Window CE 5.0 on an AMD 400Mhz CPU (Alchemy) and comes in 30GB and 60GB hard-drive configurations.
The 4.3 inch touch screen features WQVGA (480x272px) resolution. An optional GPS module will be available for the viliv P2.
The viliv P2 supported formats include H.264, Divx, MPEG1, 2, 4, Xvid, WMV for video play back and MP3, OGG, AC-3, WAV for audio files play back.
Other features include USB 2.0, OTG, Audio-out and CVBS Video-out ports.
Pricing is still open. August is still several month away. Episodic Media Inc. will continue to sell the viliv P1. The P2 does not replace the P1. More portable video player.
