Sony officially announces a new lower price for the Sony Playstation 2 today.
We covered Sony PS2 price-cut rumors just a week ago. Sony did not cut the price to the hoped $99 and only shaved off $20 from the PS2 price-tag.
Amazon.com already offers the Sony PS2 with the new lower $129.99 price.
To date, more than 101 million PlayStation
2 units and approximately one billion pieces of software for the PlayStation 2 have shipped worldwide - pretty amazing numbers.
