Sony Ericsson announced four new mobile phones today. One of them is the slider-style Sony Ericsson W850 Walkman phone with UMTS connectivity.
The W850 walkman music phone features a 2 inch QVGA screen, a 2MP camera with 3x digital zoom and a LED light.
Sony bundles a 1GB Memory Stick Pro Duo with the music phone. The new Walkman Player 2.0 supports MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+ and m4a playback.
The W850 comes preconfigured for over-the-air music download. You can listen up to 30 hours to music on a single battery charge.
With TrackID feature powered by Gracenote Mobile MusicID, you can have recorded music samples automatically identified.
The Sony Ericsson W850i is a UMTS 2100 and Tri-band GPRS 900/1800/1900 Walkman phone for Europe, Middle East, Africa.
It is commercially available in Precious Black or Golden White and starts shipping during Q3 2006.
